OPERATIONAL TECHNIQUES

The SOLE® model of business planning was developed by ADI to provide an organized approach to defining the issues faced by small and medium sized businesses, and offering solutions that are actionable and attainable. 

The following is a basic description of the technique:

SIMPLIFY  Every organization is unique.  By taking specific organizational challenges, and breaking them down into manageable projects, a better understanding of company goals can be achieved. 

ORGANIZE  Strengths and weaknesses of a company are defined, using the most up-to-date business models and structures. With this information, ADI can create a list of specific business segments, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and logistics, to target for improvements. 

LEVERAGE  Once the target areas for improvement are identified, the current and possible opportunities for revenue improvement and operational strengths are placed in the correct segment.  Now, the process for improvement is defined.  This provides a direct path to realize your current and future goals. 

EXECUTE   Once the target segments, and process techniques are defined, the mobilization of the marketing, sales, adminstration, and manufacturing teams are implemented.  Each area is constantly monitored with key performance indicators (KPI's), and consistent improvement opportunties are identified.  Feedback provides the momentum for your organization to maintain and grow key customer business.
